Authorities are investigating multiple home burglaries that occurred over Shabbos while the residents slept.
Sources tell TLS the thief, or thieves, used a ladder to gain access to the second floor of multiple homes, and proceeded to steal valuables.
In one home, one girl reportedly woke up to a noise, but thought it was a sibling and went back to sleep.
A total of approximately $50,000 in valuables were reportedly stolen.
Lakewood’s Detective Bureau and CSI are investigating.
Glad no one was injured. Things can be replaced.
