TRAFFIC ALERT: Construction at intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Ridge Avenue to last approximately 3 months

Tomorrow, March 26, crews will begin construction on Ridge Avenue between New Hampshire Avenue and County Line Road.

A new bridge is being constructed, and a new traffic light is being installed.

There will be alternating traffic for the duration of the project, which is expected to last approximately three months.

  1. Maybe they could work early morn then take a break for morning rush hour and then resume their work. Or work 7 pm to 7 am. Otherwise yeah it’s going to be really bad. But looking forward to the results! Needed big time. Hope somerset and Ridge traffic light is next.

    • If they are replacing the bridge they are likely demolishing it one half at a time and rebuilding it. So there will physically be only one lane available to get by.
