11/17/2012: Mission Statement – I Am A Believer

9/15/12: I would like to inform all of my esteemed colleagues that we have secured a time and date for our hoops for hunger holiday charity event. It will be held on November 13, 2012 at Lakewood Hight School. It will run from 6:30pm-9:00pm. The Lakewood Police Department have taken the responsibility of advertising this event and ensuring that we get a good turn out. Nevertheless, I think that each building should send a notice home with their students, so that we can make sure that Lakewood families are present. In addition, I will send a flyer to each of the local churches. The most important thing I need from each building in the recruitment of staff members to participate in the game.

There will be refreshments sold by the Clarke PTO and the LEA will be donating water bottles for all the players.

I was wondering if we could get some cheap s-shirts made for the Lakewood Staff Members. If anyone knows of a reasonable vendor that would like to help donate to a charity please let me know. If there is anything that I missed please, this is a district effort and not an Ebony effort. We want to restore the reputation that once characterized the place that we are all so fortunate to serve as leaders.

Have a great weekend and please let me know if there is anything else we can do to make this a successful occasion.

Thank you in advance for your support in making this a memorable holiday season for all of our needy families.
