  1. We have too manySHOOTINGS, AND OTHER bad situations here in Lakewood, When will the township focus strictly on getting these Landlords, moneymakers , many of whoom own 6-10 units in the same development, TO TRY AND NOT DESTROY THE ENTIRE TOWN, or how about the Landlords who have their tenants move from one unit to another without any co’s. where is there a committee that will establish some guidelines, and where is the township, dragging it’s feet, they are too worried about their political involvements.

WHERE ARE THE BACKGROUND CHECKS, FINANCES, remember that INVESTORS DO NOT PUT INTO A NEIGHBORHOOD, they only take out, LOOK AT NEW ENGLAND VILLAGE, LOOK AT RAINTEREE, LOOK AT MEDINA, MORRIS AVENUE, HIGH POINT, LOOK AT WOODLAKE MANOR, LOOK AT COVENTRY SQUARE, PARK PLACE, HEARTSTONE DEVELOPMENT. TOO MANY OTHER TO NAME, THE SAME NAMES COME UP AS OPWNERSHIP, AND YEP, WE ALL KNOW WHO THEY ARE, JUST GO TO OCEAN COUNTY TAX RECORDS, LIST GOES ON FOREVER, INVESTORS ONLY TAKE OUT OF A NEIGHBORHOOD, THEY NEVER PUT INTO IT.

$1,200.00 for a 2 bdrm, what an investment, and all the druggies UNDOCUMENTED will surely make the rents.

Perhaps we need rent control in Lakewood, SEE HOW MANY INVESTORS WOULD BE INVESTORS IF THEY WERE LIMITED ON THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THEY WOULD BE ALLOWED TO CHARGE, HAVING MORE THAN 4 properties to rent,

LANDLORDS, MY FRIENDS. TOO MANY MONEYMAKERS, AND THE township can do something to set things straight , however, they may infringe on their friends who happen to be the MONEYMAKERS AND/investors.

THE INVESTORS/MONEYMAKERS, do not put the undocumented into their neighborhoods, WELCOME TO LAKEWOOD.

  2. FYI – The Lakewood Police Department do not use mace, like most police departments. In use now for well over 20 years is a product called :
Pepper spray, also known as OC spray (from “Oleoresin Capsicum”), OC gas, and capsicum spray, is a lachrymatory agent (a chemical compound that irritates the eyes to cause tears, pain, and even temporary blindness) that is used in riot control, crowd control, and personal self-defense, including defense against dogs and bears.

    Setting the record straight.

  3. I WAS A RENTER, AND I TOOK CARE OF MY LANDLORD’S PROPERTY…. you know why? BECAUSE I PAID FOR 100% OF IT!

But when the government has programs to pay for people to exist- they dont care, have no pride, have no respect & know that no matter what- the government will always have a home for them!

and the second part, is fully the INVESTOR’S faults- they rent to undocumented citizens. Illegals obviously have no respect for the country, or the laws – so why do you expect them to respect neighborhoods, or assimilate themselves with this country’s customs and not making this place too THE SAME THING THEY RAN FROM!(a 3rd world country)
