UPDATED: Bachur In Critical Condition After Being Struck By A Bat

UPDATED: A Bachur is in critical condition this afternoon after being accidentally struck by a bat at his school. The incident occurred about 3:30 PM at a local Yeshivah. Hatzolah and Police responded to the scene and found the boy, 13, unconscious with a serious head trauma.

Multiple Hatzolah Paramedics were expedited to the scene.

Hatzolaha Paramedics transported the boy to Jersey Shore Medical Center in serious condition.

Lakewood Police Escorted the ambulance to the Hospital.

UPDATE: Please be Mispallel for Yosef Meir Ben Miriam Henya. His condition is critical and unstable.

  2. This is a wonderful boy who just recently celebrated his Bar Mitzvah. My son was with him at the time of the accident. Please, take a moment during this very busy time of year and say a kapitel Tehillim for him. May he have a Refuah Shelaima b’karov.

  10. I heard from a Rebbi in the yeshiva that just this afternoon he had a solo in the purim mesiba and sang “v’zakeini l’gadel banim…”. Please Hashem save him so that he may be zoche to live, be well, and raise a family!!

I myself was hit by a medal bat on a full swing over 15 years ago I fell to the ground and was out for a very short period of time I looked “chineese eyed” for months after but now I see what I have to be thankfull for just a little bit harder or perhaps if it would of hit me in a differnt spot…

  12. We are saying our prayers for this poor young man, and both his family and the family of the boy who let go of the bat. Everyone is in pain.
    We don’t know them and are not observant but no one should have to have an innocent accident like this, without the world being there for them.
