  1. how about someone organizing trips for fathers and sons? that would be a great wholesome kosher way for kids to have an outlet. Mountain hikes, scenic trips educational trips, to washington dc etc etc. The same can be done for mothers and daughters. We cant just have sur mera today we need vasay tov. we need productive contructive outlets for kids (and parents)

  2. With all the people in Lakewood complaining they have no money how can anyone afford to pay $100 for a boat trip with a meal and fireworks? You can get a decent meal in town for about $15, and fireworks are free at Point Pleasant Beach one night a week.

  3. Why do u need others to make trips for u? Get creative and brainstorm for ur own trips with ur kids. There is nothing they need more than quality private time with dad

  4. Its a Tzedaka fundraiser…. duh.
$100 is not just for the pleasure aspect it’s to support the kollel and all their parnassah stuff.
If it’s tzedaka you can use maiser money – thats what they do by all fundraisers! I mean how do all the wives manage to get huge packages at the chinese auctions all the time….
Why do people always have to make negative comments that take away from people’s hatzlacha?
