  1. #3 LOOK AT THE WEATHER REPORT!!!!!!!!!
#4 YEP, GO AHEAD… HAVE FUN TRYING TO REPLCE THE WINDOW IN YOUR HOUSE THAT IT CRASEHES THRU!!!!

  2. i have been hearing reports West Gate is Already with out power !!! its not a joke evern a small down pour and they are in the dark for a week what is this going to bring to the residence of west gate?? 6 weeks with out power????

  3. #12, just fill some empty milk jugs or soda bottles with water from the tap before the storm hits. If you have a well, fill those plastic totes up with water so you can flush your toilet. You can leave the full tote outside near a door so you can take a bucket and transfer the water to the toilet. You probably don’t want to flush each time to conserve water if your power goes out and your well stops. Even if you have gen-set, if it isn’t connected to the 220 circuit, the well probably won’t work. As far a garbage collection #4, just leave it loose so the 50 mph winds can blow it to the next neighborhood. Remember, if you use a generator you CAN NOT bring it in the house, the CARBON MONOXIDE will kill you. And don’t bring the BBQ in either if that is the only way you can cook if the power goes out. Don’t be driving your car, and don’t tie up the phone lines, including cell phones. And hope we don’t get the snow that they are going to get west of here.

  4. A number of people have already postponed Simchas for tomorrow night.

Motti Zaks Bar Mitzvah was postponed from Monday night to Wed night at Bais Pinchos.

  5. to all those in westgate who left there big toys outside (and there are many) your lack of consideration is moving. i hope they dont damage things.

  6. I live in West Gate too, and I happened to have taken in my big toys. However to judge favorably, where do you think they are supposed to put all those bikes, etc. Most houses and rentals in W.G do not have garages or their apartments are up many steps. I hear your complaint but I think it is because of the set up that many don’t take in their things.

  7. Whats with kosher food and supplies for the masses if chas vshalom there needs to be an evacuation because if inland flooding? Has anyone thought of that and if not pls do. Do some research on inland flooding.

Bsd everyone should be safe and sound and well throughtout the storm and the aftermath. Pls do chesed with ur neighbors jew or gentile and make sure they are prepared and have food and supplied.
