During the last year, she resided at Leisure Chateau, and was taken into KMC last night, where she was Nifteres.

The Levaya will be taking place in Lakewood tomorrow, though an exact time is not yet available.

  1. She was Zoiche to be Mshamesh big Tzadikim who stayed at that time in her parents home if I remember well what I read that R Boruch Ber ZT”L stayed at her parents home and she was a very young girl and she served and also spoke to Reb Boruch Ber and other Tzadikim. Its A Chiddush that a girl that grew up those days in America was Zoiche to teach lots of Students ans was a Gevaldige Baal Mechaneches. May she be a Meilits Yoisher for Klall Yisroel!

  2. Bal koreh and dikduk
You both may be gramaticaly correct but if you look in the seforim its brought down in different places as nifteres and niftara bya nikeva

  3. surprisingly, there were many American girls raised in those days who were friends and acquaintances of “Rakomah”
Shain’s who succeeded in being involved in all aspects of chinuch and in raising families that are l’shem ulitiferes. Yiddishkeit was alive and well in many families inthose days and the same families are invoved in chinuch today

  4. so so sad to hear the news. i’ve met her i believe more than once. what a sweet lady. and she did live a long life. i hope she didn’t suffer too much. she will be greatly missed.

  5. Baruch Dayen Emes What a big loss to klal Yisrael. I was very fortunate to have been really close friends with her. In fact I adopted her as my Bubbie. She wrote me dozens of letters when I lived in Los Angeles. I made aliyah in the year 2000 and met her personally .
I loved her so much!! She was and always will be a big tzadakus. She taught me a lot. She lived a very hard life, never complained. I will cherish my long phone conversations with her. Most of all I will miss her guidance that she gave me and countless others.
