VIDEO: About two dozen of the approximately 190 Jog-a-thon runners are hoping to be be that first place winner in this year’s 3rd annual Jog-a-thon benefiting the Special Children’s Center of New Jersey.
Following the directive of a personal trainer, the men – and even some yound boys – stretched their muscles before perfroming a test run – running the full 5 kilometer track ahead of the annual race.
The 5 Kilometer race, coordinated by Rabbi Moshe Serebrowski, will kick off three weeks from today.
Last year, 103 runners took part in the run, this year 188 are already registered. Among the runners is Mayor Albert (Isaac) Akerman – running for the third year.

Where do they run this great event?? I would like to sign up. I hope it’s around our towns beautiful Lake Carasaljo. Great scenery and low traffic. It would not inconvenience anyone in town.
