PHOTO: This Sunday, over 200 boys gathered at the Bais Hatorah hall to celebrate a great Torah milestone, as they celebrated the 5th annual Likras Shabbos Siyum on Hilchos Bishul.

Now entering its 6th successful year, Likras Sabbos has revolutionized the way young boys view both the Halachos and preparation related to Shabbos. 

The Likras Shabbos program, held throughout Lakewood and many other communities in numerous cities throughout North America,  features a meticulously organized four year curriculum teaching children ages 10-13 the complex highly relevant Halachos of Bishul and Borer, through paid professional Rebbeim in local neighborhood shuls. The program runs beteen Sukkos and Shavuos, and takes place each Friday a half hour before Shabbos.
