A juvenile was arrested and charged during an early-morning shooting investigation in Lakewood, police confirm to TLS. At about 12 AM, police received calls from residents in the area of Martin Luther King Drive in reference to shots fired.
Upon arrival, police searched the area for bullet casings and bullet holes, but turned up with negative results.
While searching the area, police came across a 17 year old male who after a search was found to be in possession of a weapon, police say.
The weapon was not loaded, and it’s unknown at this time if this gun was used for the apparent shooting.
The juvenile was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm, police say.
