Breindel bas Miriam Zissel, the Lakewood woman who was pinned underneath a vehicle last Motzei Shabbos, has been released from the hospital following two surgeries, a family member told TLS.

The woman, approximately 26 years old, was walking on Kennedy Boulevard when she was struck and pinned under an out-of-control vehicles.

The woman suffered a broken hip, as well as a broken pelvis among other injuries, the family said. After undergoing the surgeries, she was released to a rehabilitation center in Lakewood, where she is expected to remain for an extended period of time.
