PHOTOS: The Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch and the PBA Local 71 teamed up this past Thursday evening for the first-ever sporting event between the two organizations.
Over 50 members from the organizations attended the bowling tournament, and enjoyed each others’ company with small talk, downtime, food and community-related topics.

Any reason why Tls has not mention a single syllable regarding the stabbing of a person standing at the bima in 770?
Where is Officer Merrill? One of Lakewood’s finest. A stand up guy ! He would give the shirt off his back…..hummmmm……Sorry to see he was not in any of the pics.
Don’t worry Harry, if it happens in my shul the guy will get a free glatt kosher copper and lead kibbeh.
Harry – would you , by any chance, know what the L in TLS stands for ? And u thought its because we’re anti-chabad. Now be a good little boy and apologize.

Harry – the reality is there are many news stories happening every day affecting our communities all over. Fact of the matter is I think this site to a large degree keeps it’s pulse on the news and information that affects our town more directly regardless where the story originated. But I think it’s not the intention of this site to cover every news story that is out there. And that’s not to say our community is not saddened by what happened last night in Crown Heights.
Hey to #2… He is not one of the officers being promoted , that’s why.
