Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) released an underwhelming update to its Model S electric sedan on Thursday, and the company’s stock fell as a result. The press conference that launched that update contained a teaser for the automation capabilities that will come as part of the next update. Elon Musk said that the first part would come in 90 days, while the second upgrade will arrive at some point in the next six months. According to the CEO, the update will allow a Tesla Model S will be able to park itself in a garage, drive to meet a user if summoned by smart-phone and be able to drive from San-Francisco to Seattle with little driver input. The full automation would only work on private property. Read more in Learnbonds (external link)
