The Township will propose to lease two ‘pothole killer’ machines for two months in an effort to expedite the pothole repairs around town, Mayor Akerman tells TLS.
The machines were recently leased by the Township on a trial basis, and after it proving it’s effectiveness, the Township hopes the longer leases will enable them to get rid of the potholes in a quicker manner.
During the last Committee meeting, it was discussed that a cost-analysis meeting will be held between officials to determine if the trucks could be a feasible option for long-term use within the Township.
The fillers produced by the machines are intended to last up to 45 months, according to the company.

The entrance to Presidential Estates at Rt 9 and Roosevelt Ave has a few gaping potholes. We’d greatly appreciate if the Township could repair them. Thank you very much!
huge potholes on Oak Street between Rt 9 and the school.
I though the pothole killer was to fill all the potholes in 2 weeks.
While the pothole killer is doing a great job filling the holes, it appears to me it is not leaving a flat surface. Has anyone else noticed that?
14th st near case was filed by theses machines and now the pavement is sinking so the pothole will be back very soon
