We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Mr. Seymour Barer Z”L, a long time Lakewood resident who was Niftar today in Baltimore.
Mr. Barer Z”L, 92, and who resided in Lakewood for approximately 60 years, reportedly Learned six cycles of Daf Hayomi, and lead a life of Torah and Gemilas Chesed.
He is survived by his wife, and four children who are known Talmidei Chachamim.
The Levaya will be taking place at 12:30 PM on Monday at Zichron Schneur in Lakewood. The Kevurah will take place in Queens, NY, and Shivah will take place in Baltimore.

I remember learning daf hayomi with thim in the same shiyur in Yeshiva at 6am back in 1983. He never missed a shiyur..was always fully allert on the daf..a tayerer yid..yehe zichron boruch
He also said a dvar Torah at shala shudis at Kotlers shul.Also at 80 yrs old, he was a great tennis player. I once watched him clobber a 25 year old in pine park on Friday afternoon. We already miss you.

We had the Z’chus to use his Sefer Torah for many years. He was a very specail Yid.
