The construction taking place on County Line Road and causing heavy traffic on the arterial road for weeks, is coming to an end in the coming days, an official said.
A new sidewalk was installed East of the tracks, and medians for turning lanes are currently being installed. The medians are expected to ease up traffic by offering turning lanes for Park Avenue and Apple Street.
The project, which bottlenecked traffic for miles at times, is expected to be completed by next week.

Now that they made the median they have to pave the shoulder wich will now be a regular lane, the (old) shoulder is very bumpy from the recent construction
This is why we need more roads and less building. One road is partially closed and it creates gridlock everywhere. Pick a road any road close it and instant gridlock. When will someone take the Planning Board out to look at what is going on and stop listing to the expert that say “it will have no impact on the traffic”
It’s really hard to old time lakewooders when certain types of people move in here and build new homes thus causing lots of digging, street closings and heavy traffic. I believe most of what is going on is for the new homes being built in county line.
