PHOTO: After Fire, Police Warn about Placing Charging Cell Phone under Pillow

IMG_3433If you place your charging cell phone under your pillow at night, you may want to stop the practice.

Police in New York today are asking to spread the word, and the attached photo, after a cell phone charging under a pillow overheated and caught fire.

“Don’t put your cellphone under a pillow when sleeping or when charging your device,” police wrote. “Please share this tip and be safe.”
