The firefighter, injured in a flash over during yesterday’s fire on Ridge Avenue, was thankfully released from the hospital and is recovering.
Fire officials are using this incident to highlight the importance of firefighters and other emergency personnel of using their safety gear.
As early reported, the firefighter suffered burns to his ears, neck and arms.
The fire remains under investigation.
