  1. This is such a Choshuver mesiba. The rebbes need chizzuk, just to feel appreciated and to reinforce how important and vital their job is to the continuum of Klal Yisroel. I hope they were also told that every boy they throw out of Yeshiva makes the shidduch crisis works, cuz it takes another learner off the market. Most boys who are thrown out of Yeshiva will not turn into serious, long-term learners, even though they have the potential to do so. So, while 90% of our seminary graduates want a serious learner, a far less percent of the boys, in fact, are. We gotta guard our treasures.

  2. You listed 3 of the 4 Rabbanim that were the ‘mizrach vant’ from this beautiful event and said there were others when indeed there was only one other. It was Reb Shargi Neuberger from Baltimore. I think I speak for most if not all others that were in attendance by stating that it was hard to not be deeply inspired by his words. As Rav Elya Brudny commented during one of his terrific speeches ‘It was worth coming for this Shabbos just to get the divrei chizuk from R’ Shragi!’ Kudos to R’ Shea Ryback and all of Torah Umesorah for arranging and coordinating this unbelievable event!!

  3. To Jog A Thon:
Parents should also be told to keep their kids off Frozen Lake because if Chas V Shalom something terrible happens to their son (drown) that will also increase the shidduch crisis.
Also when it’s cold don’t go out without a coat…
Look both ways before you cross
    Wear a bicycle helmet
