Statement from Agudah NJ Director Rabbi Avi Schnall on Yeshiva Na’os Yaakov Court Ruling

rabbi schnall tlsAgudath Israel is very pleased with the decision issued today by the federal court in favor of Yeshiva Naos Yaakov.

This decision makes a loud statement that the religious liberties of institutions and individuals will be defended even in the face of opposition. This decision sends a clear message that our religious rights will not be trampled upon and we hope this will serve as an example to other municipalities.

Agudath Israel is proud to have been part of the process through submitting an amicus brief on behalf of the yeshiva.

Tireless – spirited effort by all parties! Great news and a win against discrimination and indimidation. Inspiring to see, when a group in our community was wrongly and unjustly attacked & smeared, how everyone came together and stood up respectfully but firmly and fought the good fight. Congrats!
