[COMMUNICATED] The Children’s Scholarship Fund of Lakewood is a bold undertaking that has taken Lakewood by storm! CSF is dedicated to tackling the “tuition crisis” head-on. In every school throughout Lakewood there are financially challenged parents who have fallen into hopeless default in their tuition. CSF starts by providing tuition stipends and negotiating a reconciliation with Mosdos to help get payments current. This is contingent on Part Two: parents need to commit to timely reasonable payments. In a very short time, CSF of Lakewood has already helped tens of families get back on track, ensuring that every Jewish child receives the chinuch education they deserve.
“CSF of Lakewood is the greatest thing to happen to Lakewood’s chinuch since the first Cheder opened its doors!” said one school administrator enthusiastically. “Dead accounts are becoming more common, and Mosdos rely heavily on the tuition base to meet their budgets.”
CSF has the endorsement of the Roshei Yeshiva of Bais Medrash Govoha.

Can we have more details? Where is the money collected going to? Whos distributing the money?
The funds go to Lakewood school children. To eliminate the overhead of screening applications, it is distributed as follows. First, schools are chosen by lottery (number of schools depends on amount of funds available) once a school is chosen, the administrator of the school is contacted and he helps identify the family that would benefit most, with our goal of getting that family back on track to make future tuition payments.
