1. My block was just collected even though we were told not to put out the garbage. If the public works can’t get things right with their new commissioner, how can we think that things will be better this year if we are hit with a major snowstorm??

2. Our trash was just picked up!

3. My trash and recycling were picked up. Maybe there really is trash pickup

4. Dpw is going around to all the people who didn’t get the memo and picking up their trash so they don’t get tons of complaints from people who didn’t know about this legal holiday.

5. The notice was for today November 9th.

7. I hope they come again tomorrow to pick up for those that didn’t put out their garbage!

8. Absolutely a complete waste of tax money. And I bet they are getting paid extra for working on a Holiday!

9. It’s a federal “holiday” or tragedy (that’s up to you) and every other municipality’s departments are closed except for law enforcement & emergency personnel. Sunday pickup? Only in Lakewood. Wasteful. Not satisfied? Get double your garbage back.

10. They picked up my garbage as well. I questioned the driver who informed me they would come again tomorrow.

12. Right. Double time, double the taxes, double the traffic, double it all. The bubble is bursting. Pop.
