Authorities are investigating a suspicious death in Lakewood this afternoon.

Lakewood’s Detective Bureau, CSI, Sheriff’s Department, Homicide Detectives and Medical Examiner are on scene at the Jay Street home investigating.

“It’s classified as a suspicious death at the moment, but I expect that to change to an accidental overdose shortly,” Detective Lieutenant Greg Staffordsmith says.
