SURVEILLANCE VIDEO: Driverless car crashes into Lakewood school building after accident

A driverless car crashed into a Lakewood cheder building this morning just as school was about to begin.

Just minutes before the 9:00 AM start time, a minor accident outside the Bais Hatorah school building on Swarthmore Avenue prompted a woman involved to get out of her vehicle – but apparently forgot to put the car into park.

The vehicle kept going, and crashed into the school building about 100 feet away. Luckily, no children were hurt.

The incident was captured on the school’s surveillance cameras.
