  1. No it’s a deferred loan. If u live in the house for 10 yrs it’s forgiven. Every year it’s prorated.house has to be in pretty bad shape to qualify.
    We live out of town but tried to apply. We qualified income wise but our house was in too”good” shape even though we needed plenty repairs
