Two people were hospitalized this afternoon when a truck collided with an SUV, leaving the truck overturned on its side, as first reported on our news alerts.
The accident occurred approximately 2:20 PM at the intersection of Squankum Road and Oak Glen Road.
The driver of the truck needed to be extricated from his vehicle.
Emergency personnel from Lakewood Hatzolah, and Howell First Aid and Fire Department responded to the scene.
Squankum Road is expected to be shut for several hours in both directions north of Alexander Avenue, an official said.
