Police investigating multiple drive-by rock-throwing incidents in Lakewood

Pedestrians walking in Lakewood on Shabbos afternoon had rocks hurled at them, TLS has learned.

The pedestrians were reportedly walking in the area of Central Avenue when someone in a vehicle threw rocks at them.

One of the pedestrians was a Lakewood Hatzolah member, who radioed for help. Police were called.

“It appears that we encountered three separate incidents that occurred around 7:30pm,” police told TLS. “During each incident, witnesses reported that rocks were thrown from a vehicle that was traveling in the area.”

No injures were reported, and and an investigation is underway.

  1. These “people” are old enough to drive, and this is how they spend their time? Disgusting! Please don’t give this a second thought. Somethings wrong with them. Hope they get some help.
