New Zmanim Alerts system now available for free

Are you worried about missing Zman Krias Shema by just a few minutes? Do you wish you’d know when the first Sof Zman Tfillah is? How about a Shkia reminder?

Good News! A FREE system is now being launched that can send Zmanim alerts to your phone before the Zman to make sure you don’t miss it!

Q: I don’t get text on my cell. Can I still use the system?

A: Sure! When signing up, the system will ask you if you’d like to get the reminders via calls or text messages. As a matter of fact, you can choose to have reminders sent to your house phone as well!

Q: What Zmanim can I get reminders for?

A:

  • Zman Krias Shema (Mogein Avrohom-16.1 Degrees, Mogein Avrohom-72 min., Gra)
  • Zman Tfillah (Mogein Avrohom-72, Gra)
  • Shkia
  • Hadlokas Neiros
  • Sefira (coming soon)

Q: How does the system know where I am located?

A: You provide your zip code, and our system checks the Zmanim daily. If you travel out of town, you can call in to update the zip code.

Q: Sounds great! How does it work and how do I sign up?

A: Just call 844-4-ZMANIM and follow the prompts to sign up. You will then either get a text or a phone call according to your preferences. It is fully customizable! For example, you can request a text 10 minutes before the Zman Krias Shma, and another one 4 minutes before. While for Hadlokas Neiros you may prefer a call to your house phone 1 hour before the Zman. (Each reminder takes about four minutes to set up)
