A prayer and memorial service was held in Toms River Sunday for the victims of the Pittsburgh shooting attack.
The event was hosted at Chabad, under the auspices of Rabbi Moshe Gourarie.
In attendance, was Congressman Tom MacArthur, Sheriff Michael Mastronardy, and community activists and residents.
The speakers spoke about the horrific attack and what it means for residents of Toms River and surrounding communities. Officials vowed to do whatever in their power to ensure the safety of the Toms River community.
After reading the names of the victims, a moments of silent was held, followed by “Keil Malei Rachamim” by the Chabad cantor.
