  3. This does not look like a psak from Reb Elyashiv. The letter writer writes what he belives are the “facts”, and says this is what he presented to Reb Elyashiv. Then he writes he presented all the tzdadin. Seems to me like the shailah was presented in a way the anti-vaccers would present differently.

  5. Dear Um:
    Harav Dovid Morgenstern studied at MIT. Harav Elyashiv relied on him for science and medical expertise. Rabbi Dr. Akiva Tatz also testified on the Headlines podcast by Dovid Lichtenstein that HaRav Elyashiv told him the same psak (I believe that it is in his book too).
    The conspiracy theory needs to stop somewhere.
