23. You are in serious need of an education on wildlife! This if indeed a fox ( red ) although they can carry rabies “ like any other animal, they are normally shy and skiddish. Very sly theives, quiet and quick on their toes. If left alone they will not attack unprovoked and are not a danger to you. That is if your not an idiot trying to chase, provoke or messing with it’s den or pups. They are actually beneficial to us

24. It’s not outrageous that there was confusion between the fox and a coyote. You need to know what to look for in order to determine which animal it is.
    This is a red fox based on the black “boots” it wears, the black stripes on the back of its ears, and the white at the edge of the tail.
    The grey fox is similar, but tends to have a black stripe down its back and may not have the black on the ears. Also, the grey fox has a more feline face than the red fox.
    Coyotes tend to be larger, have longer snouts, and no specific identifying markings.
