Who in their mind would use a plastic cup?!! Of course it will melt, hallow? It’s a plastic cup and because they sell it doesn’t mean you need to buy it. A bisele sechel

Would someone please post what brand of Chanukah lights these are. There are many different brands on the market and it is important to know which ones are a problem.

  • Yitz says:

The only way to stop this idiocy is to get the feds involved.

  • Yaakov Fisgus says:

Plastic is made out of oil, the same used to make gasoline. Once it catches fire it will take more then water to put them out.
If it’s not HEAVY THICK glass or metal, don’t use it for Shabbos, Chanukah or yerziet candles.
Keep a 5 pound fire extinguisher need the candles.
Always keep an eye on them, don’t leave the house when they are burning!!
