School bus window shattered during road rage incident, police say

The Howell Police Department is investigating a road rage incident which left a school bus window shattered – while children were on the bus.

The incident occurred on April 16 in Howell.

Police say an older silver or white colored sedan with faded paint and school bus were involved in the incident which took place on Ramtown-Greenville Road near Moses Milch Road.

“During the confrontation, the passenger of the vehicle exited the vehicle, approached the bus driver on the driver’s side, began yelling obscenities at her and punched a window causing it to shatter,” police say. “It should be noted that there were children on the bus at the time of this incident. The driver of the vehicle is not being accused of any crimes.”

Investigators are reviewing video surveillance taken at the scene in an effort to identify the suspect or the vehicle.
