Authorities are investigating an overnight shooting in Lakewood.
Shortly after 1 AM, police received a call about shots fired in the southern section of Lakewood, police said.
“Upon arrival, Officers located approximately 13 shell casings on Erica Road,” Detective Captain Greg Staffordsmith said. “Those involved fled prior to arrival, however. Area residents reported that a group of 5-6 Hispanic males were seen running from after hearing the gunfire. Their involvement is unknown.”
At this time the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact the Lakewood Police Department.
