The Garden State Parkway is backed up for miles after two people were reportedly electrocuted.
The accident happened in the area of mile marker 109 while utility workers were working on downed wires.
An official tells TLS paramedics are on the scene treating the patients.
Traffic in the area is at a standstill, and drivers are seen walking around the Parkway.

UPDATE: Both patients were transported to JSUMC in serious condition.
