Since Rosh Chodesh (9 days ago) we have had much cloudy and rainy weather, giving us very few nights to say Kiddush Levana. (Actually, only one night.)
Things should clear up a little over the next few nights.
Lakewood and surrounding areas (Toms River, Jackson, etc.)
Tonight, TUESDAY, MAY 14, it will be possible to see the Levana. From around 9 to 10:30 pm it will be in-and-out, but you should be able to say Kiddush Levana. Starting at around 10:30 PM until about 2 AM, it should be mostly clear.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 15 will be CLOUDY and/or RAINY.
THURSDAY night, MAY 16 will be similar to Tuesday night.
FRIDAY night, MAY 17, will be clear in the beginning of the night, from around 9 PM until about 11 PM. (Ask your Rov if you can say it on Friday night.)
Motzoei Shabbos will be mostly cloudy with the moon being in-and-out from about 9 PM until about 1:30 AM.
RECOMMENDATION: Try to say it either TONIGHT or THURSDAY night.
This is a great public service! I had totally forgotten. Thank you TLS!
Thank you for this information.
