  1. This happens every week at around the same time. Why is it so difficult to catch these guys? The streets are dead at 3am. Are the cops out?

  2. burglar entered through unlocked doors of house–why are the doors not locked at night. are the cars that were burglarized locked? People need to safe guard your belongings. the police can only do so much and leaving possessions unlocked it just asking for problems.

  3. Lakewood Police are the best out there !
With that being said , I think it’s time for a more robust street crimes unit .
Perhaps more under cover officers would do the trick ?

  4. “The best” and yet every Friday night the same group of trash is robbing us. This has been going on for 3 months. Are they patrolling the streets at night or sleeping?

  5. The article is inaccurate. This past Friday night they broke the lock of a window and climbed in. On my street – into my neighbor’s home. So for all those people giving great advice to ‘lock your doors and windows’ what would you say to that? So Jackson resident- I don’t think this family was ‘asking for problems’ – do you? Could’ve happened to you. Same as them. Just some food for thought.
