  1. Bd”e what a loss… He was a very special person the vp neighborhood had the zchus to have him among us the past few years. His simchas hachaim was contagious

  2. Bd’e. What a loss. I grew up around the corner from him. The pashtus and emes in emunah, and everything he did, was something out of the ordinary. Who can ever forget how he said over a medrash or a sfas emes? Or speak abou lodz? A real link to the past.

  3. This is one of those where you knew it was coming and it still hurts. I knew Mr Fuchs for many yrs from when he used to come to the Katz’s for Shabbos and Yom Tov. We sat next to each other Yomim Noraim by R’ Hirschberg shul. He was always smiling and in good cheer despite the absolutely brutal life challenges he went through. To me he was a walking mussar Sefer on Simchas HaChaim. And, btw, so were his daughters. Geet and Yaffa and their families did NOT STOP taking care of Zeidy’s every need and whim 24/7 the last 10 yrs. They were, and continue to be an inspiration to all their friends and neighbors.
