TLS has received reports of multiple home burglaries that occurred over Yom Tov in Lakewood.
In at least one of the incidents that occurred in the Park Avenue area, the burglar(s) made forced entry via a basement window, according to the homeowner, and stole jewelry and cash.
The burglar(s) then reportedly took a knife from the kitchen and attempted to gain entry to the upstairs, but was unable to.
The homeowner, who was not home for Shabbos, found the burglary during Yom Tov, and walked to the police station to report it.
Multiple other homes in the area were reportedly burglarized – including one where the homeowners were home.
CSI is investigating.

told you…
If you don’t stop the petty crime – (bikes) it becomes non forced entry into vehicles, let it go & it becomes non forced entry into homes. Keep ignoring it & it turns into full scale forced entry burglary.
Stop it now before it turns into ARMED burglary…
