Petirah of Mr. Yosef (Ernst) Fleischmann Z”L

We regret to inform you of the Petira of Mr. Yosef (Ernst) Fleischmann 98 ז׳׳ל, who was Niftar in Lakewood over Yom Tov.

The Levaya took place today in New York, and the  Kevura in Beth El Cemetery, Paramus, NJ.

Mr. Fleischmann’s children are Mrs. Chavie Berkowitz, Mr. Howard Fleischmann and Mr. Arthur Fleischmann.

Shiva will take place at 31 Bennett Avenue, Apt 63, New York, NY 10033. Times of minyanim to be announced.

  1. He was 1 week short of his 99th birthday. He was a self made man, came over to this country in1938 from Germany . He was drafted in 1942 , went back to Europe and fought the Germans. He worked very hard, stayed a shomer shabbos , didn’t take any handouts. He had a brilliant memory, knew geography . Bh all Frum children and grand children. He will be sorely missed.
