100 weddings for Yochi Z”L

A quarter of a century ago, a boy was born, a blazing light, destined to lead a life of emunah and hope, to inspire simcha against all odds, and challenge all those who journeyed alongside him to get up, get going, and always strive higher.

Our very dear and beloved Yochi, Z”l, was born into a very special family; to hand-chosen parents, R’ Yechezkel Binyomin and Sima Ruby, she’yichyu l’oy”t, whose lives were totally dedicated to their treasured b’chor Yochonon, named for the revered previous Stoliner Rebbe Zt”l. Their optimism and positivity created the perfect backdrop for Yochi to flourish.

Yochi had a desire to help everyone. His heart was an overflowing exuberance of desire to be mesameach others, with a reassuring smile and pleasant demeanor. Yochis ahavas yisroel embodied the directive of the Stoliner Rebbe for who he is named.

Yochi was raised to be, and always was, a true and proud stoliner chossid, who faithfully consulted with his Rebbe and followed his every advice. He was meticulous about his dress code and presentation, choosing to be strong and dignified amidst difficult circumstances and challenges.

He greeted each new day with determination, not complaining about his lot, fighting to be there for every yid regardless of his affiliation. His slogan was to accomplish and succeed…

And finally, the simcha he thrived on through his friendships and social outreach was a major delight in his life. Yochi gave a supporting hand to everyone who needed his brand of chizuk and emunah, to sweeten their plight, to help others carry on…

Everyone wants Yochi’s unique legacy to continue on and never to stop…

Although he left over his own beautiful legacy, he was not zoche to fulfill his dream of one day getting married and leaving over children of his own and establishing his own bais neeman.

Beezras Hashem, we are setting up, in his merit, a Keren Chassanim fund, a unique fund that will assist those making weddings.

The “Yochi Ruby Keren Chassanim Fund” will be there to offer a broad range of assistance opportunities, financial and beyond. It will be administered by Yochi’s parents and close friends.

We feel the most befitting way to perpetuate his memory, would be a Keren that will allow others to enjoy their simcha to its fullest, without being totally distracted by the financial burden. We truly feel this will eternalize Yochi A”h. It is most befitting to his legacy. Yochi’s gift during his short time on this world was to be mesameach others. We would like his memory to do the same.

Please join us to launch this fund.

Your generous participation in this holy endeavor will accrue zechusim for our precious, unforgettable Yochi; and he, in turn, will be an advocate of blessing and goodwill for each of us, his beloved family and friends, at the throne of Hakadosh Baruch Hu, beseeching him for yeshuos, for each of us personally, and for the ultimate geulah and redemption for klal yisroel, bimheira biyameinu amen.

A beautiful Shloshim Seuda was held at River Terrace attended by Yochi’s close friends and family. The night was a true testament to Yochi’s life how he lived each day with emunah peshuta and simchas hachayim.

Everyone left inspired and the take away was to try to emulate Yochi and to learn from him to make the most of each day, despite any difficulty that one faces.

Yochi is missed dearly by so many and the void is great. By contributing to this fund we will elevate Yochi’s neshama and do something postive lieloy nishmaso.

The charidy campaign will take place starting this sunday Shiva Asar Betamuz. How befitting to choose this day as we begin the mourning of the three weeks. Yochi brought ahavas chinom to klall yisroel, the antidote to sinas chinom, and in this zechus by coming together Be’achdus just as Yochi did all his life we will hasten the coming of moshiach speedily in our days.
