[COMMUNICATED] To open a school? Many parents in Lakewood may wish so, but that’s not happening. Then why and who is coming?
Bais Yaakov of BP has an alumnus throughout the world exceeding 10,000 kna”h. Can you guesstimate how many of them are living in Lakewood? We can’t – but we intend to find out IY”H.
Our former talmidos remember their years in Bais Yaakov fondly. “The best school years I ever had” they say.But foremost in their memories is the Mechanech Hagodol, Rabbi Ehrenreich shlit”a. It is now 65 years that he has been mechanech Bnos Yisroel. That is a major milestone in Bais Yaakov and for Klal Yisroel.
And who will be b’siyata dishmaya our guest star? Rabbi Ehrenreich zul zein gezunt has agreed iyH to attend this event – to greet his former talmidos, speak to them, and even do a Q& A. What a zchus!!
There will be other speakers to honor the event IY”H. – watch for the announcements. We are looking to greet all Lakewood alumnus then.
Why? We intend to make a Commemorative Memoir for Rabbi Ehrenreich. In it we want ALL his former talmidos and staff throughout the world to insert a message of Hakoras Hatov, interesting memories, and even pictures.
So we are trying to build a database of all these talmidos worldwide, so that all can join and be part of this effort. Lakewood surely has the greatest concentration of alumnus.
Come and be part of a fun evening. Meet your former classmates, enjoy some good ice cream and nosh, listen to Rabbi Ehrenreich, ask him questions that you are longing to be answered the way only Rabbi Ehrenreich can, and listen to a few great speakers. We promise to keep it short and sweet.
Please visit our website BJBP.ORG for further details on this project.
Please open a school here. It’s pathetic what goes on in this town.
Bais Yaakov of Boro Park is heavily needed around here. They actually prepared their girls “for life”! Being and wife and mother, is what they spoke about!
It is our responsibility as alumni to come out and show support!!! Rabbi Eherenreich is a Mechanech like no other and deserves recognition! Finally! An opportunity to show some hakaras hatov!
