  It may help identify suspects in repeat cases or at least to know that its an issue in that neighborhood (there’s a neighborhood alert feature). Might help as proof for a theft claim if the credit card they used provides that (such as Amex).

Wow. They look really professional. Even covered their hands so you can’t even tell the color of their skin. Looks like it was well planned. I’m sure they are capable of getting a normal job and making decent money.
