We Will Not Forsake His Family

[COMMUNICATED] The tears are still flowing over the fresh grave of R’ Yosef who departed from us last week.

His shattered widow is crying and asking “Why have you abandoned me?”

The children are crying out from the depths of their being “Totty, where are you? Who will take care of us now that you have gone?”Dear friends are wondering who will encourage them during difficult times now that R’ Yosef is not here.

All who knew him are asking who will give us a smile and a kind gesture now that R’ Yosef is not here.

Everyone is shocked and saddened by the terrible tragedy of the sudden premature passing of a very special young man, R’ Yosef Wertzberger, who was only fifty years old.

He leaves behind his widow and six young orphans.

Six orphans who are now reciting Kaddish.

Six orphans who will no longer see their father’s loving smile.

Six orphans who fear for their future, not knowing what tomorrow will be.

During this time of great sadness Rabbonim have come together and formed a committee to take care of R’ Yosef’s family, a family who had been left with no savings and no source of income.

Under the leadership of Rabbi Binyamin Breuer, Rabbi Yoel Wosner, Rabbi Chaim Meir Halberstam and Rabbi Shmiel Duvid Friedman, a keren yesomim is now being set up.

Dedicated friends have commited to raise one million dollars for the Wertzberger family.

We will not forsake them. Help us help them. Donate HERE.
