BREAKING: Jackson officials resign in light of bombshell revelations

In the wake of the explosive scandal rocking Jackson Township government, and just days after TLS exposed Jackson officials as having attended a secret CUPON meeting last week, two of the officials have announced their resignations, sources told TLS.

Richard Egan, Sheldon Hofstein, and Joe Sullivan anonymously attended a meeting where attendees discussed how to stop projects in Jackson that might attract Jews. Since TLS brought the information to light, the officials have come under intense fire and scrutiny from their colleagues in Jackson.

As a result, Egan and Sullivan have resigned.

Richard Egan has resigned from his positions on the Planning Board and Environmental Commission. He was appointed by Mayor Mike Reina to the Planning Board in January of this year.

Joe Sullivan resigned his positions on the Zoning Board and Rent Control Board.

More resignations could be forthcoming, and more information may be released in the coming days.

  1. The pattern of blatant illegal misconduct by Jackson officials runs deep.

The files on Reina, Nixon and these zoning and other officials are thick. Yet, the Ocean County Prosecutor ignores these actions. Governor Murphy keeps Nixon as Chair of NJ Schools Development Authority. Ocean County Freeholders keep Reina in a barely there job as “inspector” of bridges, despite having no engineering degree.

We all need to wake up. America is golus, just like any other. When a Yid sins it is public and we are all blamed for it. Social media runs rampant with calls to harm us and with hate groups like RUOC. When these public officials violate Federal and State laws, as they did and as they are doing the Ocean County Prosecutor looks the other way. This is golus, just like it was for 2,000 years. We are blessed to be in relatively gentle phase of golus, which was often the case over the 2,000 years.

Gedolah hasaras hatabas, more than mem ches neviim….. מגילה יד.

Let us not expect anything from officialdom, instead let us look all into our own middos and emunah and avodas Hashem and keep improving those until Moshiach comes.

  2. Why does Jackson have a need for a rent control board but Lakewood doesn’t? Don’t we also have thousands of tenants that require protections just as much as the people of Jackson?

  3. There are media outlets that always rush to report “crimes” & “issues” with politicians in Lakewood. This is very big news, how come it’s not being reported. When was the last time you had 4 people quit the same board on the same day in NJ this is front page news

  4. I am reluctant to ignore the anti semtisim which surely exists . And I think many are just a anti Semites . However, I do also understand concerns of some and don’t think it’s all anti semites.
Put yourself for a minute in their shoes . Say you lived in a nice quiet out of town setting . You went to the park and 3 families were there . Your outings were serine and enjoyable .
In the mornings you wake up and there is one local school where all kids attend . The traffic is minimal as one bus is needed and roads don’t get that congested . Now all of a sudden we move in . Parks ars jammed pack bec kain aina hara we have large families and we are all young with children . Now me the non Jew can’t get swings for my children and everyone is bumping into each other . My morning commute is now a night mare bec bh we all send to different schools and even within our own family we send to 3 diff schools . Now the roads are full of school busses .
I am not saying it’s wrong . I believe we ars by enlarge law abiding . But we need to realize that our life style does affect the suburban quality of life .

  5. @Understading:
I disagree. Look at it another way. If all the people moving in were their friends and family, would they object? I think not.
Bottom line: The population is growing, and if each town says NIMBY, then people have less options where to go, which is obviously unfair. You just have to deal with the expansion, or move somewhere else that is quieter.

  6. as a frum yid you must always ask yourself, am I a good neighbor? or do I bring inconveniences and hardships to the new community im moving to…MIR DARF TRACHTEN VEGEN YENEM!!!!
