Is There a Conspiracy to Keep Orthodox Jews out of Jackson? (AUDIO)

With two members of Jackson’s boards having already resigned, the fallout from the release of the audios obtained by TLS continues.

Audio reviewed by TLS points to a darker conspiracy against the town’s growing Jewish community.

The new audio obtained shows involvement by these board members at the CUPON meeting and proves that they were not just innocent bystanders as some have suggested.

In the audio below, Sheldon Hoffstein is heard advising the crowd to join the boards.

After a female – who is a teacher in Lakewood – admits that being at the meeting may be problematic to her position, Sheldon Hoffstein tells her to apply for an opening on a board in Jackson.

With the Oros Bais Yaakov and Agudah Israel lawsuits and federal and state investigations ongoing in Jackson, this audio seems to prove what many have feared.

Hoffstein sat on the zoning board during the Oros ruling, and his involvement in this meeting will certainty have bearing on its final court ruling.

More to come.

  1. If only these board members would be able to replace the 4 letter of HATE with the 4 letters of LOVE instead, things wouldn’t be so complicated for them right now.

  2. I have searched the Asbury Park Press (aka APP) and haven’t seen one article discussing the fallout, resignations, or any mention at all about the Jackson meeting. It just shows the animus towards the LW community when the paper salivates over whatever negative news emanates from the frum community, but fail to be even-handed or objective in reporting the presumably damaging, illegal, conspiratorial efforts on the part of the Jackson governing boards.

    • Was think the same. Where is the Anti-Semitic APP on this?
They are all a bunch of low life losers who sit behind a keyboard and spew hate.

    • Anyone who was been watching the APP’s articles over the past several years, would immediately see that their editors are a major cause behind this entire unwarranted buildup of hate towards orthodox Jews. They intentionally manipulated stories and cherry picked what and how to report & not report events – all in effort to shape the mindset of its readership by painting a disturbingly negative perception of an entire population.

They all clapped when the Oros school application was denied, and they continue salivating at every such occasion that they have the opportunity to provoke those same desired results over and over again — all under the supposed color of law.

I have a trove of information about the APP’s subtle form of propaganda which I’ve been archiving over the past 15+ years about their unmistakable animus towards the community at large. When read either in part or as a whole, the picture brings to mind the same level of animus that the New York Times infamously has for our President, Donald J. Trump – which is to Obstruct, Defame, Demean, and Destroy at any cost, no matter who or how many people have to pay the price. The APP fake news “journalists” should be ashamed!!

  3. Just curious what about the fact that the new developments proposed in Jackson as well as all the new buildings in Lakewood discriminate against non Jews from buying there? Or is discrimination only something that occurs against Frum Jews? Bottom line, if I lived in Jackson whether I was a frum person or a goy I would not want tons of development that causes traffic and will make it difficult for the Jews who already live there. Sorry that the few rich Givirim developers wont be able to make so much money in their Development.

    • There are existing neighborhoods in Jackson who cannot build shuls in their neighborhoods.

You cannot build a school even in a zone next to existing schools.

NOWHERE in the entire town can you build a dorm.
Ditto for a Mikvah, you need a permit for a Succah and more.

Jackson amended their zoning to restrict schools, Shuls and more.

Their elected officials violated the law to harass homeowners with home based private prayer groups (friday night minyanim) which are permitted uses under federal and state law.

Jackson is getting sued and will lose under federal RLUIPA and we Jackson taxpayers will end up paying for the official misconduct.

This is not about new development – Jackson warmly welcomed the MASSIVE Mitch Leigh project, even though that adds thousands of units – because that is not geared to Jews.

  4. Anti development is not anti-Jewish was the argument we always heard, but the latest revelations show that it is Anti-Jewish, contrary to their public denials.

  5. Here is an idea. Anyone who doesn’t want lakewood style overdevelopment in Jackson, should write up a list of rules they want to prevent it. Let them be clear and upfront about it. The Jewish community will be happy to agree, because we also don’t want that kind of traffic and trouble.

No more cul-de-sacs, any new road must be wide enough to handle the trafiic, enough parking spots, accurate zoning of one or two family residences, and more.

When they resort to subterfuge, we take pause. There is plenty of space for the frummer community to work with those in Jackso who have concerns. Just be honest about it.
