Over 2,500 without power at the Lakewood, Toms River border

Over 2,500 are without power this afternoon at the Lakewood/Toms River border.

Among those out, are residents at Leisure Village – a senior community.

The cause of the outage is not listed at this time, but the company says power is expected to be restored by 9 PM.
