Adam Lieberman Wows at LCSC Business Link Event

In one of the best attended Business Link events to date, the LCSC in conjunction the Lakewood Development Corp. hosted its latest Business Link Networking event Tuesday evening in the reception area of The Strand. The star of the show was Lakewood’s own Adam Lieberman, a recognized expert trainer for professionals engaged in Sales.

Adam is renowned as both an engaging motivational speaker and an expert on the art of selling products and services across many industries and businesses. Sharing his vast experience in sales and training salespeople, Mr. Lieberman stressed the need to know your strengths and weaknesses and tailor your sales pitch so that it is genuine, convincing, honest and engaging.

Deputy Mayor Menashe Miller opened the evening with remarks about the importance of networking within our community and the importance of the work being done by the LDC and the LCSC. The mission of the LCSC in general and of the Lakewood Business Link initiative in particular is to proactively help business owners network with each other and help them and their employees acquire the skills necessary to succeed. Local business networking has proven to be a strong tool for Lakewood’s small business community to share ideas and foster relations to further grow their businesses.

The program continued with Mr. Lieberman providing amazing insights on the dos and don’ts of Sales. Included were practical tips on some of the most common struggles salespeople face; such as getting past gates-keepers (receptionists and secretaries ‘protecting’ the Boss)  and connecting directly with decision-makers, creating/developing leads, crafting and perfecting a short and sharp sales (elevator) pitch and much more.

His years of experience and research in analyzing the practices and routines of successful salespeople has made Adam the go-to person clients turn to train their sales staff. His much anticipated book on this topic is due out early in 2020.

The LCSC and the full-house of participants genuinely thank Adam for his generously and dedication in volunteering to present his outstanding program as a Lakewood community service.

This program was sponsored and funded by the Lakewood Development Corporation, Lakewood’s economic development agency, as part of the Business Link series of Networking Events. Other programs offered by the LDC/LCSC include UEZ Microloans and Business Assistance consulting. All LCSC programs are offered at no fee.
