Well not exactly on time. My daughters bus comes to our stop at 9:30 when school started already at 9:15!
Well maybe no bussing…I live in a development and not a single bus has driven by this morning and it is nearly 8am!
The issue was discussed thoroughly since July1. The vendors agreed to renew all contracts that were able to transport 36,000 mandated and nonmandated nonpublic students. How come only now does the LSTA determine they are not adequately financed? By law the bus companies and the LSTA cannot be paid until services are actually provided. This is not new.
